Welcome to the Gippsland Gate Radio and Electronics Club

We are a group of amateur radio operators (Hams) and electronics enthusiasts. We promote all aspects of the hobbies of Radio Communications, Telecommunications, Computers and Electronics.

Meetings

Our general meetings are held on the third Friday of the month and start at 2000hrs (8 pm). They are held in the Guide Hall behind the Cranbourne Integrated Care Centre, Grant Street. Visitors are always welcome.

Amateur Licences and Upgrades

GGREC offers licence testing for all levels from foundation to advanced. These are usually held at the clubrooms in Cranbourne. Please contact the Exam Coordinator Ian Jackson VK3BUF to find out when the next exam sessions will be or to learn more about the exam and licensing process. Email: education@ggrec.org.au

• 70cm Repeater VK3RGW — In 431.425 MHz, Out 438.425 MHz, 91.5Hz, Cranbourne. The repeater is enabled for IRLP (Node 6794) and Echolink (Node 168721 VK3RGW-R).
• 70cm Repeater VK3RWD — In 431.575 MHz, Out 438.575 MHz, 91.5Hz, Mt Worth (Testing)
• Club Call-in Frequencies — HF 28.325 MHz USB and VHF 145.450 MHz FM
